Hi all,

As we are slowly approaching 5000 hits in this DevContest 2005, first prize gets bigger with now a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS sound card. This prize is now near 900 Euros. Not bad for a small Community! :-)
This Audigy was offered again by A1 dealer Soft3 (Thanks again Max for your support).

There is a new project in the competition but it is a secret one. It will be revealed later. Yeah I like when there's a bit of mystery. :-)

The show takes place THIS SATURDAY just outside of Scunthorpe, UK.

Some highlights of the day:

Somewhere in the order of 20 machines on display including a microA1 and a classic Amiga running OS4.
At least 2 machines running AROS.
Private bar with reasonable prices.
Rafflet with prizes worth over £100
After show meal.

Im expecting the turnout to be 20+ with people coming from as far as Norway.

Im thinking about organising a bit of a show for the term holidays which start at the end of next month... The proposed date of the show is the 2nd of April.

The event will be a do what you want affair. Bring whatver machines you want and just have some fun

The venue isnt finalised yet but it will have a bar and the event itself will be held during the afternoon and evening time with the possible option of a meal afterwards if anyone comes and is staying over in Scunthorpe...

Thanks to Alen Hadzihasanovic Im pleased to host a large Video taken at the Ottawa Amiga show which was held over the weekend.

The video is available in 640x480 XVID and in VCD res MPEG1. The running time is approx 15 minutes. You can download the video's by following one of the links below:

The Ottawa Amiga show will feature two demonstrations of the Amiga OS 4.0 (Beta). The will be conducted by developers Adam Kowalczyk and Steven Solie, both of which are heavily involved in bringing OS 4.0 to the AmigaOne.

The schedule calls for an overview into the basics of OS 4.0, and the second presentation will offer OS 4.0 in more depth.

Futhermore, the AmigaOne Micro "C" boards will be available for you to see and purchase at the show. Livewire Systems will offer special show deals, including Amiga One Micro "C" motherboards.
