update

Our usual server suffered a massive DDoS attack on Monday and was pulled from the colo it was in.
For the time being it is being hosted at another location.

The downside is our bandwidth is much restricted and email services are also a bit hit and miss, they are still running but might bounce mail.

Edit: the multimedia section of the site should once again work. We were overloading our temporary host so the files in that section have been moved to another server

Quite a few things are new, and a few things have been tidied up:

*Cleaned up the images in our customisations section.
*Fixed the link in the features section to point to the Features PDF on our server.
*Added a new section titled "Multimeda", provides links to all the files we host.
*Italian translation of the "Case for PPC" article uploaded to the articles section.
*Last but not least Jonathan Haddock (GiGa) has created an unofficial µA1-C Handbook for all you µA1 owners out there to use.

Following the new MPlayer release and MPlayer GUI there is a new screenshot showing both in action in our screenshots section.

Thanks to ToAks theres now an article in our articles section covering how to go about setting up and using the SFS (SmartFileSystem) File System with OS4.

Also thanks to Alex Carmona theres also a little tutorial on how to use speech with OS4.

Please use the Articles link to the left and have a read.

Brave AmigaOS coders stand up!

So you think AmigaOS is great? Then bring some great products to it!
This is your chance to contribute to AmigaOS and put your name into the hall of
fame. You'll get popularity, recognition from the community and last but by no means
least, you'll get the hardware to run your beloved new AmigaOS on.

First off, a new article has been published in our article section. The article itself is one I (Ryu) wrote for Total Amiga magazine last year and I have been granted permission to publish it on IntuitionBase. It gives you a bit of an insight into OS4 on the classic Amiga hardware.

Next up a bug has been fixed with the compatible hardware section so submited links should now be fine.

On behalf of myself and the rest of the IntuitionBase staff I would just like to wish all our readers a very merry christmas and a great new year.

Thanks for stopping by and please keep the submissions coming, this site cant go on without you :-)
