AmigaOS 4.1 Update 6 Released!

Like a bolt out of the blue, a new OS update is here, but unlike previous updates to the Amiga operating system, this one has but one major feature: the inclusion of a new AmiUpdate-based machanism to deliver software updates from Hyperion to you when they're ready. Before we'd have to wait until enough bug fixes or new features were collected to deliver in a packaged udpate, but no more. The days of downloading, decompressing, and installing monolithic OS updates are over.

As promised by Steven Solie, OS4 development team lead, at AmiWest 2012, this new approach will ensure that bug fixes and new components are delivered as soon as they are ready, with the ability to 'roll back' to any previous change if needed. Users no longer need worry about dependencies, or whether this software works with that next-generation AmigaOne, or ... it all just works. Seamlessly. A huge thanks to Steven Solie, Simon Archer, and all the developers who have made this new update infrastructure a reality. Download your copy today!
