Crisots made another cracking teaser for all those eagerly awaiting OS4. This time he shows good old screen dragging has made its return to the Amiga after so many years.

The DevContest reveals the secret project: "PCB", a PCB designer for all hardware geeks out there (and it seems there are a lot ;-).
PCB is coded by Chip.

Also a new project gets into the contest: "Pixle paint" by Patrick Thomas. This is a paint software that will bring DPaint and Brilliance features to AmigaOS 4.

2 months to go before you submit your projects.
4 months to go before contest deadline (1st December).

See you on next update!

As usual I've written a report from the AmiGBG and included some photographs from the excellent event.

To read the report please follow the source button.

That's right; I (Ryu) on behalf of IntuitionBase.com will be attending AmiGBG2005 as an exhibitor.

I'll have a handful of case badges to sell at 30SEK each.

I will also be representing Total Amiga magazine and I will have an entire back catalogue for visitors to read as well as a small selection of back issues to buy:

8 copies of issue 17
3 copies of issue 18
6 copies of issue 13

I will also be selling Total Amiga yearly subscriptions and anyone who subscribes at the show can expect to get the first new issue (Issue 21) in early August.

The DevContest is made of 6 projects now. One for coders and one for musicians.

Keep them coming! Feed me with new OS4 software! :-)

This September, saturday the 3rd and sunday the 4th, Pianeta Amiga 2005, the most important Amiga fair in Italy, will be held at the usual place. the "Palaesposizioni", in Empoli, near Florence.

For all the details and a list of participants please visit the official website: www.pianetaamiga.it</a>

With the demise of MAI's website and ftp space the yellow dog linux distribution for the AmigaOne was no longer available, that is no longer the case.

Thanks to the help of a few good people I now have all the YDL ISO's and support files and I am now hosting them through IntuitionBase, to get to the files please go here.

Hi all,

As we are slowly approaching 5000 hits in this DevContest 2005, first prize gets bigger with now a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS sound card. This prize is now near 900 Euros. Not bad for a small Community! :-)
This Audigy was offered again by A1 dealer Soft3 (Thanks again Max for your support).

There is a new project in the competition but it is a secret one. It will be revealed later. Yeah I like when there's a bit of mystery. :-)
