As a service to our loyal customers without broadband internet, Hyperion Entertainment in collaboration with Soft 3 is now offering all registered Amiga OS 4.0 users the possibility to order a professionally duplicated CD to replace the original Amiga OS 4.0 Developer Pre-release CD which came with your AmigaOne SE or XE.

The new CD not only contains the first Amiga OS 4.0 update and updated SDK which are available for download from our site but also a substantially reworked and updated "contribution folder".

There are many talented coders out there, many of whom would like to write software for OS4 but are unable to afford the necessary hardware. As a result, OS4 is losing these talented coders, and losing possible software development which would help further the platform.

Amiga Dev Box is a community initiative designed to partner the developer without OS 4 with a tester who has an Amiga One/OS 4 box.

It is with considerable satisfaction that Hyperion Entertainment can now announce the immediate availability for download of the first Amiga OS 4.0 Developer Pre-release update for registered Amiga OS 4.0 users.

Due to the extent and scope of the improvements incorporated into the update, it comes in the form of a full ISO image (33 MB) which needs to be burned on CD-R(W) by the user and is intended to replace the original Amiga OS 4.0 Developer Pre-release CD for installation and rescue purposes.
