Optical Drives

DVD drive. Not recognized by UBoot. The systems is freezing and it's impossible to open the DVD drive with the open button. Idem if I try hot reboot.

Works on OS4 with built in drivers. Tested CDWR and DVDRW.No ability to test Linux.

52x32x52 CDRW drive with Mt. Rainer support! Tested OK on MicroA1 "C".

UBoot 1.1.1 on MicroA1 properly recognizes this drive when jumpered as SLAVE. Make sure your hard disk is jumpered as MASTER. This drive is a 24X CDROM IDE drive.

Uboot 1.1.1 does not recognize this drive properly on a MicroA1 "C" version. Do not use.

infamous drive that needs a ton of workarounds to work with proper ATAPI commands. Avoid!

OS4 will not install via this drive.
