KMOS recently acquired Capacity Networks, a Helsinki based data company. Storage and transmission.
Acquired Amiga Inc... Wants to build a brand, Wants to kick start the developers. Announce extensions to DE and move it into the mobile market.
Revamp the Amiga Inc web sites
Still doesn't intend on going into the hardware market, use partners to do that.
They've offered some old Amiga employees positions. Currently have around 12 fully paid staff and some contractors, that will grow but not by a lot. 24-36 employees.
The desktop OS is needed for development and as a traditional user base.
Everything that should will be branded as Amiga, KMOS will stay KMOS for the immediate future.
