An Unix/X11 environment for AmigaOS 4
AmiCygnix is a unix environment for AmigaOS 4. It is not an emulation, all programs are native binaries. AmiCygnix offers only some things like the typical unix path tree and a Unix like data structure. Using the X-Server and the X11 libraries, some of the Unix GUI toolkits were ported: GTK+ 1 and GTK+ 2, wxWidgets 3.0, FLTK, OpenMotif and Athena Widgets. This makes porting Unix software to AmigaOS 4 much easier. AmiCygnix offers a directory structure as it is present on Unix systems. All programs available for AmiCygnix run natively on AmigaOS 4 and do not require an emulator. Developer
