SRec is a program for recording videos of whatever is happening on your computer screen. Useful for making tutorials and showing off games, programs, etc.

Requirements:

  • AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition.
  • Graphics card and driver with hardware compositing support.
  • NOTE: The Radeon HD lite driver included on the AmigaOS 4.1 FE CD is not usable with SRec as it has support for hardware compositing disabled.

  • Removed the altivec prefetching as it not only was extra work to maintain but actually made the code slower.
  • Disabled semaphore locking on file handles used by avilib.
  • Now uses NP_UserData to pass arguments to the recording process instead of a startup message.
